Brent Burgesser | Founder, Burgesser Wealth Management

Brent has over 25 years of experience as a Registered Investment Adviser, specializing in portfolio management, tax-efficient retirement strategies, and wealth preservation. His approach emphasizes helping clients achieve their financial goals with the least risk necessary.

Before founding Burgesser Wealth Management in 2012, Brent held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo Advisors. He began his career at PaineWebber (now UBS) in Scottsdale, AZ, in 1999.

As a cancer survivor himself, Brent’s experience reshaped how he views wealth, health, and purpose. His journey fuels his passion for giving back, with active involvement in the American Cancer Society, Brain Tumor Society, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He also proudly supports the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation and is currently pursuing the RMA® (Retirement Management Advisor) designation through the Investments & Wealth Institute to further serve clients facing life’s financial complexities.

Brent holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications from the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife, Colleen, live in Dacula, GA. with their 9-pound Malti-poo, Buttercup. Outside of work, Brent enjoys reading, teaching, exercising, and spending time with family.
